About EYEBALL

After the success of The Eyewear Afterparty we set out to create

something new for the independent eyewear community. 

Launched in January 2025, just weeks after the LA fires, the first EYEBALL brought together more than 300 attendees from 21 states and over 100 independent brands. More importantly, it reminded us why we love this industry: creativity, connection, and community. Together, we also raised money for those impacted by the LA fires.

EYEBALL is more than a trade show, it’s a curated, design-forward experience celebrating artistry, craftsmanship, and the independent spirit that defines our field. We celebrate creativity and authenticity, not corporate conformity.

Behind EYEBALL are Brett and Lauren,  longtime eyewear enthusiasts who share a deep passion for independent design and craftsmanship.

Brett has spent the last twenty years in the eyewear industry both as an optician and rep for Garrett Leight California Optical and Blackfin .

Lauren, a former optician, represents L’Ecurie Paris and shares Brett’s love for artisanal craftsmanship.
